OCR Nations in ICT Level 2 (revised qualification)
From September 2006 Year 10 pupils have had the option of following the OCR Nationals in ICT Level 2 This course has been developed to provide candidates with an introduction to the skills, knowledge and understanding required to prepare for work in the IT sector.
In year 10, pupils cover the following Units:
Unit 1 – ICT skills for business
Unit 4 – Design and produce multi media products
Unit 5 – Desk top publishing
Unit 20 – Creating animation for the web
Unit 23: Creating video
In year 11 pupils cover the following units:
Unit 2 – Webpage creation
Unit 3 – Digital Imaging – plan and produce computer graphics
Pupils taking the OCR Nationals course in Years 10 and 11 currently have 4 hours per week allocated on the timetable.

Course Structure
2 x exams for higher or foundation tier – 40% of grade
Coursework – 60% of grade
